Lucile Martin designs jewelry with an eye for  modern simplicity, celebrating a fresh approach to classic wearable design.

           With an early interest in all aspects of fashion and design, Lucile attended Franklin College in Lugano, Switzerland and the Maryland Institute College of Art. Since 1996 Lucile has been a studio jeweler serving fine stores and galleries throughout the United States.

           Each element of a Lucile Martin piece is truly one of a kind. Employing traditional, time honored techniques, the jewelry is individually hand fabricated using 18kt gold, 14kt gold and silver. Natural pearls and stones are carefully selected and hand tied or woven into sculptural pieces using a fine metal thread. Often the pearls and stones are hand knotted on silk. Great  attention  is paid to creating  exquisitely detailed, lively pieces that have an enduring appeal.

            The elegant, graceful qualities of color, texture and form that are found in nature  are  what  inspire the delicate and fluid designs achieved through simple, hand worked processes. Lucile’s philosophy remains simple, effortless and spirited.
